The real site
Near the Liberty at Tulamben, a wall drops from about 3 m to beyond 80 m. Soft corals, sea fans and sponges cover it. Moray eels and octopus live in its cracks, with snappers and fusiliers along the face. Out in the blue, trevally and barracuda pass by, and with luck a blacktip shark or a manta. There's no real current and visibility runs 10 to 30 m, from the shore or a boat. Most divers see the top 30 m. The rest is there to imagine.
